M24 Chaffee
The M24 Chaffee is an American tier 5 light tank.
The vehicle was intended as a replacement for the M3 Stuart. The M24 entered service in September 1943. They were produced at Massey-Harris and General Motors factories until July 1945, with a total of 4,731 vehicles manufactured.
Overall, the Chaffee is a very powerful Tier V light tank that can take on the scout or flanker role. It can also take out artillery easily with its high DPM, good accuracy, and maneuverability. It is best used for harassing and damaging enemy vehicles, and then moving behind cover, especially in city maps or maps with a lot of cover.
M24 Chaffee leads to the M41 HMC, and the T37.
Pros:
Fastest Tier V Light Tank (although just by 2km/h) and also pretty agile
Excellent view range and camouflage
Armour can provide some unexpected bounces
Gun is quick-firing and accurate at mid-range with good alpha damage and excellent DPM
Easy stock grind
Cons:
Penetration is somewhat low, but on par with other Tier V light tanks
Somewhat high profile for its tier.
Low velocity on the top gun with AP shells makes hitting moving target difficult
Poor elevation for a light tank of this type.
The spotting range of the Chaffee is good, making this tank a perfect passive scout. One of the things that should be noted as well is the accuracy of the gun which is a stunning 0.36 and a 1.9 second aim time, making it capable of quick, accurate shots on the move as well as when popping in and out of cover for pot shots. While its 96mm of armor penetration does not compare to the 137mm of penetration it had before or the 170mm of penetration the ELC AMX has, it is comparable to vehicles such as the Leopard. The Gun 75mm M6 and the upgrade, Gun 75mm M17, are welcome upgrades to the 37mm guns the M5 Stuart has. The 75mm gun's versatility is easier to note. Although still insufficient against the front armor of many tanks, it is still more than sufficient for the side and rear armor of heavier vehicles. In addition, it has much-improved alpha and a much larger HE shell, making it far more useful when fighting very lightly armored or heavily armored vehicles. It also has a good continuous rate of fire, meaning that in a light tank melee, it will quickly reduce opposing Tier V lights. As a result, it is highly suggested to get the M17 gun.

T-50
The T-50 is a Soviet tier 5 light tank.
Developed in the early 1940s to replace the obsolete T-26, but did not see mass production due to the beginning of WWII and the complex production process required. A total of 75 vehicles of different modifications were manufactured.
With its extreme maneuverability and reasonably good gun, the T-50 has switched roles from a lightning-fast scout that can turn the tide of a battle into one of the most versatile flankers at Tier V. Its previously infamous turning has been buffed to even higher levels. However, it is much slower and accelerates sluggishly, similar to the AMX 12t pre-9.18. The end result is a DPM flanker, much like the M4A3E8 Sherman.
The T-50 leads to the MT-25.
Pros:
Excellent maneuverability and traverse
Very good rate of fire
Good turret traverse speed and elevation arc
Large ammo capacity
Great signal range
Cons:
Subpar alpha damage compared to other 75mm-carrying lights
Shots faster than it aims when mounting a gun rammer, limiting its damage output at distance
Poor view range
Treads made of glass
Since the introduction of Patch 8.7, the 440HP and 500HP engines have been removed, considerably slowing down this tank. In fact, this tank now suffers from being unable to attain its top speed easily, being nearly as slow as the infamous AMX 12t pre-9.18. However, not all hope is lost. The originally ridiculous traverse speed of the T-50 has been buffed even FURTHER, making it extremely maneuverable, and terrain resistance has been reduced, helping it attain its former glory. As of Patch 9.18, The 37mm Automatic SH-37 gun has been removed, and 45mm guns replaced by dedicated versions. The new 45 mm VT-43M possesses even higher alpha damage comparable to 57mm guns such as british 6-pounders, but has slightly worse accuracy, increased aimtime and reduced rate of fire.
With that said, the T-50 now receives better matchmaking, now no longer meeting tier VII enemies.
These changes radically alter the playstyle of the T-50. The T-50 used to be a high-speed, quick-turning active scout that accelerated faster than even the legendary T-50-2 and BT-2. It is no longer the case. The T-50 plays very similarly to the Covenanter except accelerating slower and having a superior gun.
